AI Agents
Assistants that handle it, start to finish.
An automation follows a set path. An agent goes further: it reads the situation, decides what needs doing and carries the task through, answering the enquiry, booking the time, updating the record. And it knows when to hand over to a person.

In one sentence
An AI agent is a system that reads a request, works out what needs doing and takes the steps itself, handing over to a person the moment that is the right call.
Under the hood
How it actually works.
Four things happen between a customer's message and a finished task.
It reads and understands
An enquiry, an email, a message. The agent works out what is being asked, in whatever words the customer used, at whatever hour they sent it.
It checks your knowledge
Before answering, it consults a knowledge base built from your documents: your services, prices, policies and tone. It answers from your facts, not the open internet.
It acts with the tools it is given
Booking the appointment, updating the CRM, sending the confirmation. An agent can only use the tools we explicitly hand it, nothing more.
It knows when to stop
Anything sensitive, unusual or outside its brief goes to a person, with the full context attached. Knowing its limits is a feature we build in, not luck.
The building blocks
The parts every build is made of.
Every agent we deploy is built from the same four parts.
The knowledge base
Your documents, prices and policies organised so the agent can consult them before every answer. Grounding it in your facts is what keeps replies accurate.
Tool access
The specific actions the agent may take: book, update, send, file. Each one is granted deliberately, the way you would brief a new hire.
Guardrails
Hard limits on what it can say and do. Topics it must not touch, actions it must never take alone, and a tone that stays yours.
Escalation rules
The definition of when a person takes over, and how the handover happens so the customer never has to repeat themselves.
Your data and systems
Built on what you already run.
An agent is only as good as what it knows, and most businesses already have everything it needs: the service list, the price file, the policy document, the hundred answered emails that show the house tone.
We organise that into the agent's knowledge base and connect the systems it needs to act: the calendar, the CRM, the inbox. Your systems stay the source of truth, and the agent reads them rather than replacing them.
What it unlocks
What changes, honestly stated.
Agents change the economics of being responsive. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Every enquiry answered
Nights, weekends, mid-service, mid-job. The reply goes out in seconds while the enquiry is still warm, which is when it converts.
One consistent voice
The agent answers in your tone with your facts, the same on the fiftieth enquiry of the day as on the first.
Your team off the treadmill
The same ten questions stop landing on your staff. What reaches them is the work that genuinely needs a person.
Who it suits
Is this you?
An agent is usually the right build when these sound familiar.
Enquiries arrive after hours and go cold before morning
Your team answers the same questions dozens of times a week
Response time is deciding who wins the work
You want the phone and inbox covered without hiring for it

Will it say something wrong to a customer?
This is the right question, and it is what guardrails are for. The agent answers only from your approved knowledge base, avoids the topics you exclude, and hands anything uncertain to a person. You test and approve it before it ever faces a customer.
Does this replace my staff?
It takes the repetitive layer: the same ten questions, the routine bookings, the status chasing. Your people keep the judgement calls, the relationships and the interesting work.
Can it match how we speak to customers?
Yes. Tone is part of the build. We shape it on your real emails and messages, and you review how it sounds before sign-off.
What is the difference between this and a chatbot?
The chatbots most people remember followed a script and gave up easily. An agent understands plain language, checks your actual knowledge, takes real actions and escalates properly. Same seat at the counter, very different employee.
